How does every Sunday sound?

Sounds good to me.

Seeing as how Sunday's are basically a "research" day for me, I guess I can drag myself to the trusty laptop for a few moments.

So, what did we miss?

Redskins: I was hurting that day after the beinnings of my birthday celebration, but I have to say that I kinda liked some of what I saw. Let's reserve judgement for now.

Blog Show XXII

I see no coincidence whatsoever in the fact that XXII is also associated with the Redskins greatest moment, or do I?

Maryland: Not a bad effort, can't say I was too happy with some of the play calling, but I can also see why Fridge has a lack of confidence in his quarterback. Rough spot. Thanks for playing Josh! I truly believe this is a top 15 team with a more mobile, faster qb. This gave me a chuckle, even though it wasn't taken Thursday night in College Park.

I'm sure there are others that are obvious, but my head hurts already.

PLEASE NOTE: There will not be a Blog Show this week, but there will be an interesting Washington Post Live on Monday with Agent Bog joining us LIVE from Philadelphia while Mr I. is on set as a panelist. We also got Stan Kasten on Wednesday, should be great.

"I am sorry for what is about to happen to this man, who will be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but it will have had nothing to do with me."

The funniest part about this is that I really could see Pacman issuing a statement that reads pretty similiar to the one the Onion put out.

Beckham vs Bush

You've heard all about David Beckham and Reggie Bush getting together for a new Adidas Campaign, you've probably even seen the really queer looking photos of Becks in a Saints uniform.

Well here are the moving pictures to prove it.

This one is a must for any Redskins fan. It's great to see the guys so relaxed off the field. Santana and Randle El were really giving to Jason all day, and here is the result. Make sure you look out for the blur marks circa 1994 Nothin' But a G Thang style.

Sorry for the delay in getting this up. I know I promised it on Monday, but there was a bit of an 'issue' in getting it on-air. Apparently there's CSN sales beef with a certain used car company which is the opposite of Western's. It hasn't been resolved, but I found a way to get it done, as you clearly saw. All hail blur marks!

LaVar Arrington in Serious Condition

Former Redskins Linebacker LaVar Arrington was seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident early Monday afternoon.

Prince George's County Fire tells WTOP that Arrington is in serious condition after the crash near Route 50 and the Beltway.

I'm sure more deatils will come shortly.

It looks like LaVar's football career is indeed over, if it wasn't already, but let's all hope he is able to make a full recovery from today's events.

UPDATE: The report is that Lavar has suffered 'Priority One Head Trauma'. I'm not a doctor, but that doesn't sound very good to me. Let's keep the entire Arrington Family in our thoughts and prayers.

UPDATE #2: The Redskins Insider is now reporting that some people 'very close' to LaVar said that he broke his arm and his leg in the accident. Let's hope that is the extent of his injuries.

UPDATE #3: 'Priority One' is apparently a 'good thing', in this context. It means a live threatening, but treatable, injury. Also, WUSA has pictures of the crash on their website.

Baltimore Doesn't Like The Ravens

You'd think that the City of Baltimore would treat their most prized possession and only Pro Sports Franchise that matters with a little more respect, but apparently the city's parking authority doesn't really care what the team that brought Charm City it's last championship thinks. According to the Baltimore Sun, The Ravens are none too happy with the way one of the parking lots close to M&T Bank stadium was leased.

The city agreed to lease Lot O, a space not far from Russell Street near M&T Bank Stadium, to CBS Radio last July. But the Ravens say the city reached the deal without notifying the club, the Maryland Stadium Authority or major local parking companies that the space was available.

Now the Ravens want that contract with CBS terminated and they want their own, more lucrative contract put in place, but the city is saying that the five-year lease ain't going no where anytime soon. In their defense, CBS is being nice enough to allow space for 77 to 85 buses to park in their lot, but will not allow any cars. The Ravens say the lot has enough room for 85 buses and 300 cars.

The city acquired Lot O in 1998 to ensure adequate parking for buses during events at M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens used it under an arrangement between the city and the stadium authority.

The irony of the whole situation is that fact the greedy city leaders who leased the lot to CBS, could have more than doubled their profit if they just would have given the Ravens a chance to bid.

Way to go Baltimore! Hopefully this time Mr Bisciotti won't take it personally and move his team to some Midwestern city in the cover of darkness.

Carving out your own niche in The Blogopshere is a hard thing to do. How do you seperate yourself from every other blogger out there?

The guys over at The DC Optimist have had no problem carving out their niche. They are the ideal place for any Washington DC sports fan to visit whenever he/she is feeling blue. And for that, they are definitely one of my favorite blogs.

Another reason they are one of my favorites, is they are able to incorperate the following two photographs into a single blog post (which, may I add, is an excellent read), and for that, I tip my cap to them.
